The first painting on the southwest wall is "Last Chance Gulch" with Mount Helena in the background. It is presently South Main Street or South Last Chance Gulch. The drawing portrays placer minings by the hydraulic method. DeCamp favored scenes and seldom did figures or animals. Painted in 1911, this oil on canvas painting measures 48" x 96".
